Welcome to the world's first thylacine sightings Google Earth tour!
To view the tour and browse the map of sighting placeholders,
you will need Google Earth.
The tour spans 70 years from 1937 to 2007 - predominantly from Tasmania and including evidence gained from famous expeditions by David Fleay and Eric Guiler and the locations of the famous Hans Naarding and Klaus Emmerichs sightings of 1982 and 2005 respectively.
The tour is continually updated.

Please note: I have taken all care in attempting to place each sighting location accurately within the tour. However, in some cases complete accuracy is not possible. For example, the location description may be vague or ambiguous. In some cases I may have made an error of judgement. Users of the tour are advised to satisfy themselves of the accuracy of the data before acting on it and WLMD cannot accept responsibility for any losses suffered through inaccuracies. Corrections to the data are welcomed.
